Alicia

Alicia was referred to me by a friend and turned out to be a highly intelligent, nice and smart person, apart from looking drop-dead gorgeous. Don't let yourself be fooled by the sweet face though - this woman is tough as steel. I can't remember having seen so many different military outfits before, until we found the perfect one.

The location for the shot was in the beautiful Wastelands, a set of sims I visited often during my time in SL. However, we were plagued by the annoying bug where textures shift in and out of focus. The street she stands on constantly went blurry.

Initially, I intended to portray her as kick-ass warrior, wielding her electric katana she just bought for the shot. Then I caught her with closed eyes and realized that was the way to go.

The moment I had the "Hero Shot" on disk, I almost cried since the street was blurry again. So the next part was to use patches from all the previous shots and stitch the road back together piece by piece. One hell of a work.

The result is a rather tired and exhausted fightress, coming fresh from a duel or melee, questioning the reason for all this violence in her mind, yet leaving the scene as a survivor, knowing tomorrow will bring new fights.
